What’s New in iPadOS 16.4

iPadOS 16.4 is the latest update for Apple’s iPad operating system. It was released on March 28, 2023, and includes a number of new features and improvements.

Apple Pencil hover

One of the most notable new features in iPadOS 16.4 is Apple Pencil hover. This feature allows you to preview your mark at any angle before you make it in Notes and supported apps on the fourth-generation 11-inch ‌iPad‌ and the sixth-generation 12.9-inch ‌iPad‌.

iPadOS 16.4 also includes 21 new emoji, including animals, hand gestures, and objects.

Notifications for web apps

Notifications for web apps are now added to the Home Screen. This means that you can now see notifications from web apps like Gmail and Slack without having to open the app itself.
